Hi There! This is Yuemin.

I'm Yuemin Yu ("δ½™θΆŠζ—»" in Chinese characters, just call me Yuemin, or Austin, or whatever you like), an MPhil (Master by research) student at the Department of Computer Science, School of Computing and Data Science, The University of Hong Kong (HKU CDS), working with Prof. Chenshu Wu at HKU AIoT Lab. My current research interests focus on Human-Centered Sensing and Computing, which can mainly be divided into two directions: Physical AI & Sensing for Human and Room Acoustics Modelling. Other relevant topics of my interest include Real-world Perception, AI for Healthcare and broader field of Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT), AI and Wireless Sensing.

Previously, I received my BEng degree in Computer Science from HKU CDS in Summer 2025. During my undergraduate study, I worked under the supervision of Prof. Pingzhao Hu at Western University, Canada. I have also spent wonderful time during the exchange semester at University of Toronto during 2024 Winter semester.
